When you want to look up properties in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), what website do you access these on?  Are you aware many of the homes found on Zillow, Realtor.com Truila, etc. KEEP old listings that are no longer available in their database?

Are you aware none of these companies can sell you a home?

They are Lead Generating Companies who are forcing Realtors to BUY BACK their own listings. Realtors have been FORCED to pay billions of dollars each year to receive inquiries, because these companies are called LEAD GENERATING COMPANIES. They are NOT Realtors!

Several years ago my son searched on Realtor.com for ACTIVE homes for sale in his city. He chose (10) homes to look at. Eight out of the ten homes had either been sold or expired many months beforehand. Well, that was a fun day running around town only to find out these homes were NOT ACTIVELY for sale!

Perhaps the next time you want to search for real estate that is ACTIVELY ON THE MARKET, you might consider contacting a Realtor DIRECTLY. If you are interested in homes in the Palm Springs Desert Area you’ll want to get all the up-to-date ACTIVE Listings and then you can contact me, Nancy Hankin, a real live Realtor…….NOT a Lead Generating company who SELLS your inquiries to agents, many who do not have buyers of their own to work with.

Think about it this way….have you ever had to contact a doctor, but you first contacted a doctor’s lead generating company who are not doctors, and these companies then charged doctors if they wanted to see you? Of course not, but that’s exactly what is happening in real estate….and as long as you keep contacting these Lead Generating Companies who are charging Realtors a fortune to obtain their own listings, this insanity won’t stop.
