Heard of the K.I.S.S. principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid)?
Shock-value aside, this acronym will undoubtedly help to permanently brand this week's tip in your mind.
For those not in your database (like Social Media connections or people you meet), post this no-nonsense, clear-cut content as your social media channel(s) "status" and/or when you introduce yourself in-person or via email:
"I am not sure if you have a real estate agent, or what they're doing for you, but I would love to provide you with real estate activity in your neighborhood so you can see the value of your home in today's market."
"My job as your agent is to help you sell your home at the perfect time to get you the maximum return on your investment. If you have any questions about the market, what your home may be worth, or what you expect while your home is on the market, please do not hesitate to ask."
Now, when you give your database a K.I.S.S., the only thing that matters is that they feel like you care about them. That feeling will have a much longer lasting impression, than some article that you find online.
For those in your database, send them something like this:
“How are you? I hope everything is going well with your career, your family, and your home.
If you have a few moments, I would love to catch up with you. Have a great rest of the day.”
We virtually guarantee that by sharing this type of simple message, you will pre-pave success including, but not limited to, securing more listings, top-of-mind awareness and loyalty from both your leads and clients.
Simplicity goes a long way.
Don't feel pressured to explain things extensively.
It's all about teasing folks with worthwhile and straightforward content to get them to fully engage with you. Remind folks of your relevance - just keep it short and sweet.
