Without hesitation I would have to say this is the perfect spot to spend Thanksgiving at Lake Anna. No, it is not in my house but it is not too far from there. Only a couple of coves away is a house that had been on the market. A lucky couple wrote a contract on it and although they will not be spending this Thanksgiving there they will have the opportunity to spend many other holidays at their new home including many Thanksgivings.
Waiting for Thanksgiving Dinner
Can you imagine having your whole family spread out in this terrific kitchen/dining room combination. Sixteen can easily fit around the table and six more have room to spare at the island. With two refrigerators and a walk-in pantry filled with food there will be plenty for everyone.
Private Beach at Lake Anna
Should the weather be warm enough (and in Central Virginia that is a very real possibility) time can be spent out on the screen porch or down by the water. The current owners were hoping to have one more Thanksgiving to gather at their Lake Anna getaway, affectionately named Charlie's Place after their dad. That wish is coming true. Settlement is not until December 4th, the week after Thanksgiving. Charlie's family is very happy to know another family is looking forward to creating memories here.
