It was quite a few years ago my husband said he would like to study real estate and get his license. I said that sounds great, I think I will too. At that time, there were no class requirements to get a license. If you could pass the test, you could get a license. I bought a book briefly read through the book and I thought I was ready for my real estate sales agent test. Before testing I began talking with brokers to determine which office I would like to join. The second broker I interviewed asked me if I thought I was ready for my test. Of course, I thought I was ready. I had passed every test I had ever taken. He gave me a few questions that he said were on the test. I had no idea which answer was correct. The next day I drove 90 miles to the closest book store. I found a test prep study book with questions at the end of each chapter. The book said I should study until I could pass all of the tests with 90% accuracy. I spent the next six weeks studying from morning to evening. I took the test and passed.
My husband at that time, never studied and did not take the license exam. I am so glad I did.
Real estate has been very good to me from my own investments to my years as an agent helping others buy and sell real estate. Now I help buyers and sellers with their Branson Real Estate.
My first investment I purchase for $1,000 down and a few years later sold and netted $40,000 after all of my costs. I really enjoy being an agent helping other people make their dreams come true. I know real estate investments are good for everyone, because real estate has been so good to me. It really gives me pleasure when I can help someone find the right property and then help them through the entire process.
