When we were kids some of us would dive to the bottom of the deep end touch the bottom and come bobbing back to the top. The first few times I tried this I came back flubbing and wiping my eyes because I couldn't find the bottom. Sound familiar? Unfortunately housing news is all about the flubbing and not bobbing back to the surface.
Here is the great reality. If we keep reaching we will find the bottom. The sooner we scrape our knuckles or admit how deep it really is the sooner we will know what it takes to start back to the top.
My advice to investors and potential homeowners is keep looking and be logical. There are still great deals out there - if you look you can see the bottom. That is where we all want to buy!
Rates are great and housing prices are very close to bottom (cost to build).
Plan, plan, plan you cannot make good decision unless you are ready. Make SMART decisions.
