Burn victim Justina Page will present her story
at Dynamic Women quarterly luncheon, Dec. 3
You are invited to come and hear the inspirational story of Justina Page, a burn victim who survived a deadly home fire, but lost one of her babies in the tragedy. Page will be the featured speaker at the next Dynamic Women luncheon and Christmas-themed networking event, which will be held Thursday, Dec. 3 at Golfcrest Country club in Pearland from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Page is the author of the book, The Circle of Fire, and founder of The Amos House of Faith, a non-profit organization that provides post-burn support to children and families.
Page, who suffered third-degee burns over 50 percent of her body, is a burn survivor, and the parent of two burn victims - one who survided and one who didn't. Page lost her 22-month-old son, Amos, in the house fire that severely injured her and her other son, Benjamin, twin brother to Amos. Her non-profit organization is named for Amos.
Page has dedicated her life to helping families suffering from burn trauma. Her work within the burn community has been recognized locally and nationally.
Doors will open at 10 a.m. when guests can do some Christmas shopping and networking with some exciting area vendors who feature home decor, fashion accessories, jewelry, health and beauty, and business professional services. Lunch will be served at 11:30, and the event ends at 1 p.m.
Guests can register for free door prizes when they sign-in.
The cost of the luncheon is $16 which includes the networking/shopping event and lunch.
