The most expensive home that sold in Arizona last week was a $6.5 million dollar luxury new build in the Scottsdale subdivision of Silverleaf. I've highlighted plenty of homes in this neighborhood for this series because Silverleaf is one of the most sought-after areas of DC Ranch. Unfortunately the builder didn't provide very much information on the subject property or show any pictures due to the fact that it will not be complete for another few months. So to satisfy my audiences insatiable desire for my weekly report on a fabulously exclusive estate that sold in Arizona last week I'm going to mix it up. I'm choosing to highlight a not-often featured style of residence in the Arizona market that is still an excellent example of luxury at it's finest.
The Landmark Condominiums in the Kierland resort area of Scottsdale is the pinnacle of Condo living in Arizona. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath end cap unit sold last week for $2.3 million dollars and is just under 3,800 square feet giving it a price per square foot of $598! This posh and private penthouse has four separate balconies overlooking the Westin Kierland. Completely remodeled in 2015 the new owner will have at their disposal two offices, separate guest quarters and community amenities such as concierge services, an on-site fitness center, and private wine cellar. Residence of the Landmark are also within walking distance to all of the chic and swanky shops in the Scottsdale Quarter and Kierland. If you're going to purchase a Condo in the Landmark it's imperative you know what you're getting in to. The association fees can be upwards of $16,000 per year. Also, not all units have a desirable million dollar view which can make a big impact on buyers when it's time to sell your Condo. Click on the picture below for the full MLS listing:
