Active Rain Contests are sometimes a challenge and others are just plain FUN. Kimo Stowell presented us with "The 2nd Haunted Masquerade & Costume Ball Contest". It was a lot of fun, with a variety of ways the AR members could participate. There were eight possible winners in the different categories. If you missed it, each day for seven days prior to Halloween, each AR member could submit photos and blogs in the following categories:
Their Halloween Decor
A Halloween Recipe
A Unique Hostess gift for the Halloween Party
A Costume for your favorite Pet
A Scary Halloween Tale
Your carved Pumpkin
A picture of you in your Halloween Costume for the Masquerade & Costume Ball
Overall total of "Likes" for the week
Not only were there points given to the winners in each category, but Kimo blessed the Winners with a gift from Hawaii.
Since I was one of the winners, (in the Pet Costume category), Kimo sent some Hawaiian dog biscuits for my pet "Wolfie". Here is a picture of him enjoying the fruits of the AR contest.
