Sometimes we consult the clouds to figure out what the weather condition will be. This is not an exact science however we do it anyway.
Here is an example of one of those times we will propably get it right. The dark ominous clouds is almost a sure sign there will be a thunderstorm.
At times this is a better way of forecasting the weather, than checking it online.
That might be a storm, but there's beauty brewing with in that storm if I have anything to say about it.

Jennifer, you are surrounded by such beauty in the Hudson Valley no matter what weather is brewing!
I have found a great way to accurately predict rain from working 17 summers at a golf course and getting up before dawn. If there was NO DEW on the grass in the morning I found that over 90% of the time there was rain by nightfall.
