Benjamin Kubelsky was born February 14, 1894 in Chicago Illinois. His parents bought him an instrument and he excelled at playing it. He did hate the practice but his hope was to become a professional with this instrument. He was expelled from high school and joined the Navy. He played miser and is best known for the character he portrayed. His TV series went from 1950 to 1965. When he died he had in his will made arrangements for his wife to receive a single long stem red rose for as long as she lived. She lived 9 more years and the red rose was always delivered. Who is this person who even after death showed his love for his bride? Well Benjamin Kubelsky is better known as Jack Benny.
