You Know What They Say...An Aspirin A Day....

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Realty Center

We have all heard about how taking aspirin a day can help with a multitude of things.  However, it might very well help keep colon cancer and cardiovascular disease at bay.  If you are not on blood thinners, and are considered moderate  to high risk, you might consider taking a low-dose aspirin daily.  Aspirin has anti-inflammatory properties, and also decreases chances of tumor development or blood clots.

As with anything, make sure you speak to your  doctor before starting any medication.

Good morning Kristin,

I'll stick to just my coffee in the morning and Manhattan after five pm.

Luckily the Doc has not yet prescribed any medications and I'll knock on wood he never does.

Make yourself a great day.

Kristin, you never know when aspirin will come in handy.  It's also supposed by good if you think you're having a stroke.

My doc suggests an aspirin a day too, but I generally wait for a bit of pain and take several.

Good to hear they are good for more than just pain relief.
