Speechless Monday

This is another post that I intended for yesterday.   But you know about how intentions, even good ones, can turn out!

I took this on a day trip to Winchester, Virginia, a charming town west of Washington, DC.  It's rich in history, and even richer in photo ops!  The weather helped with this one.  I was facing north, which had dark clouds that looked like a thunderstorm was immanent.  Had I been on the other side of the spire, facing south, the sky would have be a totally clear azure.

Good morning Patricia,

Amazing the views one gets when doing a left or right face a few times.

Make yourself a great day.

Patricia,  I know all about plans and intentions.  It's a lovely photo. It looks crisp and clear just like the weather on the other side spire.

Once during an inspection near that very church I was in an older house where the chimney had settled and separated dramatically from the house.

The renter said she thought there might be a couple of bats in the attic because she saw them fly from there sometimes in the early evening.

Opening the large, creaking hatch to get into the attic, I turned on my flashlight to frighten between one and two million bats, all of which started fluttering furiously.   I got out of there immediately.

Further, the floor in that attic was many inches deep in guano!  Very scary.

The renter said they were "sick a lot."  Well, I bet so!
