food donation earns a $37 lift ticket at Crested Butte. Crested Butte Mountain Resort is thinking big this year and teaming up with the Crested Butte and Gunnison Food Banks for a large scale food drive to benefit the local community. This year when you bring three non-perishable, non-expired food items to the mountain on specified dates, you will receive a voucher for a $37 lift ticket to Crested Butte. The voucher must be used on the same day as it was received.

“As a company we value our local community and are always looking for ways to be supportive, and give back. We thought that providing food for both the Gunnison and Crested Butte food pantries was a great way for us to help, from the CBMR family,” says Crested Butte Mountain Resort President,  Ethan Mueller.

This community service venture allows guests to ski at amazing rates, while supporting a great cause. It's a win-win for skiers, snowboarders, Crested Butte Mountain Resort and the local community. There will be two food drives of this kind this season. The first is to be held on Dec 6, 2015 and the second is scheduled for February 28, 2016. Bring your items to the Adventure Center between 8am and noon to receive your voucher and have a great day on the slopes, knowing that you did a good deed!

What a great idea to get the public active in this cause and to get the whole family outside.
