Love It AND List It

It is with mixed emotions that I tell the world wide web that my house in Durham, NC is now for sale. The house that I have poured emotions and capital into over the last 6.5 years is the only one that I thought I would own while my wife studies at Duke University.

218 East Knox Street, Durham, NC 27701  is a house that has changed significantly over my family's time living in it. It is a small house (1260 square feet), and we are a family of four humans, one dog, and two cats, but that is not what moved us out. We have lived by Sarah Susanka's concept she wrote about in her book The Not So Big House, and have made many thoughtful renovations to maximize our space.

What took us to another house was a listing near the desired Eno River State Park. On the other side of our fenced back yard is literally the Eno River State Park. From the fence, it is a short 500 foot walk to the Eno River. Our children's life will be changed from the urban area where we now live, to a suburban one of cul-de-sacs and riding the bike without having to compete with four-wheeled vehicles.

The right Charlotte REALTOR!

What a cute, cute house, Bill!  I know you'll enjoy being by the Eno River and the children certainly will!

BTW, my MIL and two of my uncles went to Duke so, we're HUGE Dukies in our family!
