For those holiday mornings, try this easy recipe.
1 (8oz) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 pound pork sausage, cooked and well drained
2 Cups shredded mozzarella cheese
4 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400
In a 13x9 baking dish, spray generously with vegetable cooking spray, spread crescent rolls to cover the bottom of the dish (keep the crescent rolls together, do not separate them). Sprinkle sausage and cheese, evenly, over rolls.
Combine eggs and milk, beating well. Pour mixture over sausage and cheese. Bake for 25-35 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and allow to stand for 5 minutes, cut into squares and serve immediately.
NOTE: Aluminum foil may be used to cover rolls, so that the middle of the rolls will completely cook.
