Here is my entry to the 5 Years of Thankfulness contest sponsored by Happy Grasshopper..
As usual I have started a blog and waited to the last minute to finish it!
!. I have to say what I am most thankful for is my clients, especially those who have stuck with me, like the one family who just made their 4th purchase since 2007 and this time it was one of their children who purchased their 1st home with my help.
2. I am thankful for Happy Grasshopper who has helped me keep in touch with clients that past few years, in fact the family mentioned above reads and responds to all the emails I send to them thru Happy Grasshopper! I do not do nearly a much marketing as I should but I really appreciate Happy Grasshopper because it is the ONLY company who offered me their service with a "try it before you buy it " approach! That is so rare these days! So many companies just want to see your money and often stick you in a long term contract and being a resident of the SHOW ME' state of Missouri, I was sold on the Grashopper right away!
3. I am thankful to finally find a company that really does care about it's agents with a true "no split' commission structure! This is fresh in my mind because I just closed on a deal with a $ 8000+ commision and only had to pay $395 to the brokerage! So yes, I am grateful to Worth Clark Realty for providing me with a business model that really works! I am coming up on 2 years here and only regret I did not find them sooner. I plan on being here until I retire.
4. I am also grateful for all the new technology that makes our job so much easier! Even tho I am a baby boomer who grew up with black and white TV, I have always been astounded by the amazing advances in tech I have seen since the 1950's.
5. Lastly, but probably most important, I am truly thankful for my family who has stood by me, especially during the toughest years for me, (2008-11) I wish to also thank my extended family, Active Rain where I have been able to find so much useful info and meet folks in other parts of the country and who are always ready and willing to share their experiences!
