What I am thankful for...

What I am thankful for this year

1. The first thing I am thankful for is being able to forgive 2 people that I have loathed for 30 and over 50 years. You would not believe the burden that was lifted from my heart when I just let it go. It was a wonderful feeling that is hard to convey in mere words...
2. Like so many others I am blessed with a wonderful family! My wife, Connie of 35 years, our daughter and son and their spouses, and last but not least; 5 super grandchildren ages 8 months to 3 years old...
3. My next blessing is my life and memories. I have had a great life and I thank God every day for all that I have seen and felt. I feel that every accomplishment and job is a learning experience and has prepared me for my next step in life...
4. I have all that I can use in way of material things and I am blessed to know I want for nothing
5. Last but not least; I thank all of you on ActiveRain, who, have put up with me and my humor or my daily thoughts and inspiration since 2008...
