Dolores and enjoyed a bottle of Chateau Ste Michelle Chardonnay, Vintage 2013 with one of our Thanksgiving holiday dinners.  This is a Columbia Valley, WA wine that you may wish to include on your shopping list. 

 

“The Columbia Valley Chardonnay is a pleasurable, food-friendly Chardonnay. This is a fresh, soft style of Chardonnay with bright apple and sweet citrus fruit character with subtle spice and oak nuances.”

Roy, I first was introduced to this winery with their Cabernet Sauvignon while on business travel in Riverside (Mission Inn hotel, wednesday wine tastings).  Their cab is my favorite wine and one I have consistently received high praise for when I've brought it to parties.  Even though they are a few states away, I'd love to go to their vineyard some day.

 

I can only imagine how good their other flavors are.

I have heard that this one is quite good, but I am not a huge fan on chardonnays so haven't tried it yet. More of a red wine or sparkling drinker.
