I Remember…….

It's better to remember our loved ones by the times they were alive, and there are so many of those memories that we don't need to dwell on the last day they were with us.  Glad to hear you can still enjoy this day... Happy Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving seemed to be different too as my wife lost her dad this summer.  It is never too late to start new holiday traditions!

Hi Sheila Anderson ,  Memories are a great thing for us to have, so we can relive some of those precious memories that we have tucked away for future use. Many of those, we bring out at some very special times.  Thanksgiving is a time when we can still share our Holiday with those who made those memories precious.

It's just Debbie and myself on Thanksgiving.  We talk about those gone and those across the many miles and then we carry on with our own day just as you did.

We haveb something in common Sheila...my Mom also passed on Thanksgiving...and it is 2 years this year...we are just beginnng to devekop new holiday traditions as she wuold want us to do.

It is a good day to remember those that have gone ahead of us, but not to let those memories bring us to grief, but thankfulness.

Sheila...I love remembering loved ones with retelling stories... they keep our loved ones close.

the memories are what we continue to build future holidays with, as new nuances are introduced.
