Thanksgiving Dinner At The Souto Household 2015. Thanksgiving at the Souto house is a day of family and sharing with others, and today we we were blessed with both.
At Thanksgiving we open up our home to others who do not have family close by, and welcome them as one of our family. That usually means a house full of people, and we have had years it took a 30 pound turkey to feed everyone. However, in resent years many of those who would spend Thanksgiving with us, have been able to travel and be with relatives they had not seen for a while. So today was a smaller group just our family, a young couple who just moved here from Tennessee and attend our church, and another close friend from Church with her two grandchildren.
My wife really makes Thanksgiving a special day, with everything she cooks. She also makes sure she makes enough for leftovers for others to take home with them.
I hope today was a special Thanksgiving Day for everyone here on ActiveRain, and especially for the many friends I have made in the Rain over the years. May all of you be blessed, and enjoy each moment you can with those who are close to you. Those are the best blessings of all, and what I am truly thankful for.
Thanksgiving Is A Family and sharing day at the Souto House, and I hope that today was as special a day for your family as it was for us.
