This is a market report for rental apartments in the active senior (55 +) citizens community of Rossmoor in Silver Spring, Md. 20906. This is a 610 acre gated senior citizens community at the northern edge of Silver Spring. At the time of this report (11/27/2015) there are a total of 11 such homes on the market FOR RENT, 7 with applications waiting on landlord decision, and another 4 that have rented in the last 30 days. This is a lively market, with a 2.75 month absorption (active/rented) rate.
One Bedroom
Currently there are 3 one-bedroom apartments on the market for rent. These homes are currently listed for $1,400 to $1,495 per month; with the median being $1,425. The days on market range from a week (8 day) to 1 month (28 days), with the median being 2 weeks (15 days).
Currently there is 1 one-bedroom apartment in the community with applications being considered by the landlord. The last know listed rent was $1450 and it was on the market for 1 month (30 days).
