On November 22, 2015, California Association of Realtors (C.A.R) reported that pending home sales Index (PHSI) gained 2.5% to 113.4 in October of 2015 from 110.7 in September of 2015, and rose 13.9% from Index of 99.5 in October of 2014 on an annual basis based on signed contracts.
Non distressed property sales were 93.7% of all sales in October of 2015 higher from 91.5% in October of 2014. Overall, distressed property sales were 6.3% of all sales in October of 2015, down from 8.5% in October of 2014.
