I've known for a few weeks that my granddaughter, Brittany, and her husband, Normand, are expecting their first baby, but I've had very strict orders not to write a blog post yet. Well, all "stops" have been lifted, and I can finally share with everyone how excited I am.
The thought of being a great grandmother is unbelievable. I'm so excited for them and for my daughter, Tammy. I can remember when she was pregnant with Brittany and how excited I was then. Now, she can experience how wonderful it feels to be a grandparent. My mother will be a great, great grandmother, and she still remembers this information being shared with her. I hope it continues through June of next year.
Brittany is due on June 26th, and what an exciting summer that will be for everyone in the family. Now I can start shopping for baby clothes and fun things.
Great grandmother.... I think I'll workout for an extra half hour today....there's something about that title that makes me want to run an extra lap, too!!!!!
