Our Texas State Capitol is located in the heart of Austin TX

Recognized as one of the nation’s most distinguished state capitols.

It's architecture is very similar to our Nations Capitol in Washington DC.

The Texas State Capitol was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1986.

My partner of 20 years and I married on the south steps of Texas State Capitol July 4th, 2015 making this beautiful landmark another reason I love Austin Texas.

Great looking building and you are right, the architecture is similar to that of the Nation's Capitol, which I would assume most states perhaps try to do, but I don't know.
