Craig'st List Part II
The Internet is a great place to interact and socialize with our fellow human beings. But it is also a great tool for free advertising and getting our messages out to the rest of the world.
I have been using Craig's List for the past few months to advertise some listings and I must say that I get more leads from Craig's List (and exposure from Active Rain!) than any other form of print or media (radio, television) advertising. At least 3 of my current clients have contacted me because of my listings on Craig's List.
So try your local Craig's List if you have not done so yet and see for yourself. What have you've got to loose? It is a free service as long as you agree to their advertising guidlines and terms, and the customers and future clients who are actively searching on Craig's List are more serious than others.
I have also sold some other household items as well on Craig's List. I find that people, especially in small towns like Eureka, Arcata, Crescent City, and McKinleyville will pick up the phone and call you quickly if the item is something you are looking for.
So go and post your listings and see how Craig's List can work for you.
