WOW! December already! Man, how traveling time flies!!!
Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our 71st week! Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
For some reason as December begins, I am drawn to areas north of our United States--as I am intrigued with them!
While doing some detective work outside of our beloved country, I found some pretty "cool" stuff! (Get your gloves ready, it gets colder as you go down the post).
This first one is in the Northwest Territories and honestly, I'm not even sure where those are! Maybe we need to take a plane ride to find it!!
This photo is SO spectacular that I just HAD to start off today's post with it! Check out Fort Simpson, Canada, thanks to Valerie Singer.
Well, maybe Dick Greenburg can help us understand the Northwest Territories. Here is a post about a trip he took to the the northern part of Canada.
As I explored some other parts unknown to me north of us, I discovered this short video taken during a winter evening in Manitoba of extreme cold. It's dark, but kinda fun and like magic nonetheless! Thank you, Harry Logan. (His first laugh sounds like Santa Claus!)
I love this video. As Greg talks, he says "sometime this week we're going to get to 8 degrees (that was UP in temperature)!
Happy December, stay warm and enjoy the indoors!! See you next week for another Tuesday Travelogue.
Please don't forget to comment on these blog posts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels. Feel free to join our group:
