Easy Tips For Painting

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with THE TEMPLE TEAM

  • Look for High Quality Paint
As in everything .... paint is no exception,  quality matters!   Ideally, the paint should have high hiding ability and resist dirt and scuffs.
  • Look Online for Inspiration
Look at sites like Pinterest and Houzz for lots of ideas and inspiration!
  • Use Paint Samples
Buy small samples of various paint colors and paint sections of your wall instead of using little paint chips. Make sure to look at it in all lights ie: day vs night.

Funny how quality paint can make the difference.  Or you could buy the cheap stuff, but a lot more of it because it may take more coats.

Great tips, Kent.  Paint quality does make a difference.  And, you're so right about looking different  in various light conditions.   Thanks for the post!

A regulr painting is not that difficult, but before trying to attempt it yourself, do watch some tutorials and be careful with choosing bright vibrant colors before selling your house.
