Oceanside Inn is undergoing major renovation – replacement of the garage on the north side of the resort. The concrete structure is already in place, but there is still some work and it is highly unlikely it would be finished by the end of the year.

I heard that it is expected to become operational by February, which is a key month for the tourist industry because of the series of races ending with Daytona 500.

13 units for sale starting from $29,900. 2 next priced units are under 40K, and then up.

Of course, whenever there is work done on the property, the prices are low, so seeing these crazy prices is sort of expected to a point.

However, sales are fewer than in comparable condo-hotels in the area, and it is partially because of the restrictions for the owners to use their own units, causing snowbirds to dump their units, and stopping the best clients (snowbirds) from buying in Oceanside.

If the Board does not change their policies, and will continue insisting on dubious distinction of having the most stringent policy in the County, they will make it more difficult for the owners to sell their units, and it most probably would affect the prices in the resort.
