Downtown Grand Junction Christmas Tree Lighting
The weather was cold, but they still came. Adults, families, children all anxiously awaiting the lighting of the 2015 Christmas Tree and the arrival of Santa!
Christmas music was playing on the square and suddenly the Christmas Tree was ablaze with lights!
At 6 pm, Santa appeared on the roof of the Wells Fargo Bank building, waving to the packed crowd.
Grand Junction Fire Department was on hand to retrieve Santa from the roof top and bring him safely to the ground.
Santa went to a big cozy chair where he greeted the children one by one as they shared their special Christmas wish list with him.
