The Christmas parade. That's right! Little ol' Murphy has added a Christmas parade to its annual Christmas in the Park celebration. The parade will begin at 5 pm today, December 3, 2015 located at the Murphy Municipal Complex, 206 N Murphy Rd.
Following the Christmas parade there will be other family events such as marshmallow roasting, fun crafts for the children and holiday performances. You really don't want to miss the lighting of the Christmas tree. Last year's weather was a little on the wet side but tonight is expected to be clear and dry. Come on out and enjoy the festivities and celebrate the season.
And don't forget about Santa's Ride beginning on December 7th and will continue until all of Murphy has been covered. The rides will start promptly at 6:30 pm and continue until approximately 8:30pm. Visit http://www.murphytx.org/480/Santa-Drive for an interactive map.
