As I see it. . . . . . . .

Discover your real talent

 

Everyone has a hinted talent . . . . at times that talent is on the surface. It’s in clear view . . . . at other times you have to dig deep to being it out. Your talent is there . . . . and it’s up to you to discover it . . . . and to bring it into the sunlight . . . . and allow it to grow and flourish.

 

Once you discover your real talent . . . . and apply it with a purpose you will blaze down a new paths . . . . and open the new doors of opportunity.

 

When those doors are opened you may feel yourselves entering a dark room. At that moment . . . . you have to have the faith in yourselves to step into the darkness . . . . and turn on the lights.

 

Turning on the lights . . . . will light the path of your success journey.

 

Once you discover your real talent . . . .  grab hold of it . . . .  Your life will take a giant step forward . . . . and your world will change for the better.

Good Morning Lou:

Erica Jong is one of my favorite writers. I have always lead myself into believing that I have a singing talent. But my family and friends were honest enough to say "Stop dreaming." LOL.

Anyway, on a more serious note, I do agree with how you elaborated on Erica's quote. It may require deeper digging but eventually, one will realize that the talent is there... innate... and it only needs to be improved and developed.

I think it's important to tap into positive talent and once discovered by the parents, it should be channeled into the various developmental stages throughout the childhood's life experience with parents, teachers, and guardians.

Hi Lou,

I totally agree that we all have special gifts and talents.  As, Barbara Todaro said, people judge.  But, we have to be brave and true to ourselves... in spite of discouragement, which is generally from people who are jealous and/or don't have enough self-confidence to develop their own special talents.

Many people have difficulty finding their hidden talents;. so many times it is not in clear view and not just for a day, but for years. I believe it is something we must work at to find. Also, it may be the very thing - in our discovery - we fear the most. But once we find it, WOW!!!
