Sonoma County Home Sales - October 2015

The median home price in Sonoma County dipped again during the month of October. We have been watching that number closely after it took a wild swing during the real estate market crash. In January 2012, the median home sale price was $300K, and has been clawing its way back up ever since. Our most recent high was $545K in July 2015, yet now is slipping again.

Home prices in Sonoma County are up anywhere from 7% to 15% from a year ago, depending on which month you look at. Either way, home values are up. There is one number that has remained a constant for several months now. On average, it takes 60 days to sell a house in Sonoma County.
