Sonoma County Home Sales - November 2015
It's pretty obvious in Sonoma County that buyer and seller interests have turned towards the holidays. Only 362 homes sold in November 2015 compared to the busy summer month of July 2015 when 545 homes sold.
The median home price slipped yet again, after hitting this years median high of $545K, also in July 2015. It will take a few more months to find out if this is a market trend or if we are just experiencing a slowdown of higher priced home purchases.
The average Days On Market is up just slightly, but 63 days is a number that other areas only dream about. It amazes me to hear that in some places, the average amount of time a house is on the market is over a year. Just incredible.
It is actually a great time for buyers to get out there to see homes, there is less competition and it is easier to find out if a house has any problems with water intrusion.
