Winter is officially here in Bozeman and we are looking forward to some skiing, Christmas strolling, local shopping and all the other fun things to do in Bozeman during the month of December!

As for Bozeman’s winter real estate market; there were 57 homes sold within Bozeman city limits during the month of November, 17% lower than the previous month. 63% of these homes were single family homes, 32% were condos and 5% were townhomes.

There were 28 single family homes listed for sale in Bozeman during the month of November. The highest priced single family listing was $675,000 and the lowest price single family listing was $238,000. The total number of homes listed for sale in Bozeman decreased 28% from the previous month, reflecting the usual slowdown of the real estate market during the winter months.

The average sale price of a home (single family, condo and townhomes) in Bozeman decreased just slightly from $283,457 in October to $280,949 in November. The average sale price of a single family home during the month of November was $360,091, 9% lower than the previous month. The average sale price of a condo in Bozeman decreased 9% from the previous month to $223,456 and the average sale price of a townhome increased 11% to $259,300.
