Holiday Events at the Carlsbad Village Faire

The Carlsbad Village Faire is a popular shopping and dining destination in the heart of Carlsbad Village, a couple blocks from the beach. So you can enjoy a walk by or on the beach, then shop and dine to your heart’s content, with free parking to boot.
At this time of year the Carlsbad Village Faire is festively decorated and the wide range of retailers affords ample shopping possibilities.
There are a number of holiday events taking place at the Carlsbad Village Faire – here’s a brief overview:
December 5 (TODAY) – Come hear the Fallbrook Chamber Orchestra in the Courtyard from 12 – 1:30. Santa will be in attendance from 12 – 2 for photo opps
December 6 – 31st Annual Holiday Tree Lighting from 2 until 5 pm
December 12 – “Tis the Season”, from 11 – 3, a holiday open house with music, plenty of shopping bargains, food and of course Santa photo opportunities from 12 - 2 pm
December 13 – the popular annual “Pets on Parade” with photos with Santa (appointment), group pics by the holiday tree at 12:30 and then the Pet Parade down Carlsbad Village Drive led by Santa at 12:45. Free cookies and dog treats
December 16 – a Holiday Program featuring violin students, from 4:30 – 5:30 in the Courtyard
December 17 – “Cruising the Art Scene”. You can meet the artists (Suites 101, 102 and 103), see artist demonstrations, and enjoy refreshments and music
December 19 – more opportunities for photos with that Red Capped white bearded guy and live music with Ramon Cruz
December 20 – enjoy a variety musical act with Sonny (vocal, keyboards, trumpet and saxophone)
December 22 and 23 – holiday music can be enjoyed in the Village Faire Courtyard, from 3 – 5 pm.
December 22 – enjoy a 1-hour Flamenco Concert with Alejandra and Maritza from 11:45 – 12:45
