I have been hired to work 3 events with the Alabama Association of REALTORS at three different locations.  I just finished my first event held at the Auburn University Dixon Center, yes I have been surrounded by War Eagles!  During one of my sessions I told the room I posted more information on my blog and you could check it out for more details.  To my surpise in the entire room we had only 2 bloggers, so I had to give them a quick lecturn on why they need to blog.

It's a big country out here and we have so much work ahead of us educating agents on the tools of the trade!

That is so true Dick! I was just recently at an local REALTOR Association meeting and the speaker, the president of our association, asked if anyone in the room had a blog. Out of about 85 people in the room , only myself and 1 other person raised our hands. I was surprised to see how few REALTORS have made a concerted effort to keep up with technology when statistics clearly show that most buyers start their home search on the internet.

Dick, I am amazed at how many times I mention my blog and people just look at me like I'm half crazed.  So yes, I have seriously been trying to educate.

I taught a class on blogging last week and I even had to explain to my principle broker what a blog was! Most agents just have no idea what they are and how they can increase their business.
