Something new in Bend Oregon's Real Estate market? How about 700 acres to the west of Broken Top which is slated to become resort featuring an 18 hole golf-course designed by David McLay Kidd. Construction is scheduled to begin soon on the more than 350 single family homes, a four star hotel, 200+ town-homes and 50 cabins for nightly rentals. The progress of this proposed premium resort has made the news several times in recent years.
The acreage previously known as Cascade Highlands, will have many paved and unpaved trails. The developers are working to keep current access to trails open while in the construction phase. Arrowood developers chose the name Tetherow after a Central Oregon Pioneer from the mid 1800's.
The home-sites are expected to start at approximately $400,000. Pictures will be posted as development 
proceeds.
How many resorts and golf courses can on town support? Thus far Central Oregon has not met the demand. In comparison to the recent "quick" sellout of Caldera Springs in Sunriver how will Tetherow show? Any thoughts from other resort areas?
