How to Get More Without Compromise


David Tipton, Real Estate BrokerTypically, new home builders in the Tampa Bay area pay a commission of 3% to the real estate agent bringing the buyer to them that results in a sale. Traditional brokerage agents keep all of their commission and split it with their Broker and franchise. I'm an independant real estate broker who owes nothing to a large conglomerate. When you buy with David Tipton as your representative, I share a portion of my commission with you so you can get thousands of dollars back at Closing without sacrificing service.


Why I Share 1% of my Real Estate Commission

To be sure, this offer is not a popular with most if not all real estate agents working in the Tampa area. Offering rebates and incentives is one way that real estate brokers can compete for consumers’ business, leading to lower prices to consumers. I'm not tied to a "Big Box" real estate company, which means that I do not have to pay any portion of any commission that I make on a real estate transaction to any other entity. Yes, like any other indepenadnt business, I'm responsible for my own business expenses, such as licensing, MLS fees, advertising etc. What this means to you is,  I'm able to share a portion of what I make with those who allow me to represent them with any new home builder. There is no catch or contracts. My Rebate Program is free and does not obligate you in any way. However, to participate, it does require that you register at the Builder’s sales office on the first visit and identify David Tipton, Broker as the Participating Broker/Realtor. I make this easy by supplying you with a Rebate Certificate (intro. letter) to the builder. This demonstrates to the builder that you learned about their homes from me and one of my web site’s and that you are therefore eligible to receive the cash rebate.


Search For a Home

Just call or send me an email requesting this on-line Rebate Registration form. I will send you a letter to present to the builder. Present a copy to each builder on the very first visit establishing me as your representative with the builder. It's just that simple.

As in most business decisions, the owner can usually create a business plan with rebates in that plan.   The issue becomes whether or not it is legal in their respective State!

Being an independent broker you can rebate any amount you choose to the buyer as long as state law allows it, good luck.

Thanks for the comments David and Dan.  I think the key is independent brokerage.  Big Box franchises due not permit the latitude for a serious rebate without loss of service to the buyer.
