Things are looking up in Clark County!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

While I know that numbers automatically put some people to sleep, did you know .....

-----Inventory in Clark County has gone down 5.1 months since January, 2008?
-----Average price appreciated .2% ($303,900 vs $303,300)
-----Conversly, median sales price decreased only a slight 1%!
-----Days on the market have decreased from a high of 110 days to just over 90 days
 (data provided by RMLS)

So, while the doom and gloom of the market seems to seep into almost every article we read, there is a rainbow out there (and I don't mean to refer to our rain which makes our county the most beautiful place in the country!)  We are seeing more and more Buyers who see the benefits of the Buyer's market.  There are great buys and people are getting some terrific values.

As you can see, I really like where I live and work.  We have a wonderful way of life with both seclusion as well as close proximity to the metro areas of both Portland & Vancouver, not to mention the mountains, rivers, and the Pacific Ocean.  We have it all!

Thanks for reading my blog.

Even when it is snowing on the Oregon coast in late April, it is the greatest place in the world to live and I wouldn’t want to change a thing about where I live!

Thanks for the statistics, these are great to use with buyers and sellers.  And you are right, this is a great place to live in spite of the rain.
