My sister has a friend who is a single lady (over 40+++).
This lady admits that she doesn’t know anything about car shopping except this one thing.
You should always negotiate to get the floor mats for free.
I can only imagine the money dealers have made on this lady while absorbing the great loss (yes, snarky sarcasm) of giving her free floor mats.
You would never do anything that silly, would you?
Unfortunately many buyers are just as bad when it comes to buying a house.
They either:
# 1 Get fixated on a small item about the house and they buy or don’t because of it, or
# 2 They listen to dubious advice from well-meaning friends and relatives that a seller must do this, include this, or fix this or that. See my post:

It is an old but true saying, big doors swing on little hinges. That can be positive but it can also be negative.
When you are buying something as expensive and important as a house don’t get hung up on whether you are getting free floor mats. Keep the big picture in mind. Listen to your agent.
