Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) Host's Home for the Holidays
The Citizens for Animal Protection is hosting its Holiday Celebration “Home for the Holidays “ on Saturday December 12 and Sunday December 13, 2015 from 1 PM till 6 PM. Of course there will dogs, cats and other animals available for adoption. Make some homeless dog or cat very happy by adopting them into your family. You will have a life long friend if you do. Do not adopt if you can not agree to keep this pet in your family for life!
There will be refreshments, a bake sale, silent auction of personalized stockings for your pets christmas or holiday present, tent sale at the pet supply store plus available pet supplies and pictures of your pet with Santa. Obviously you can bring your pet along for the pictures with Santa. Stop by and pick up some special goodies to treat your pet during this holiday season. .
I like to visit the dogs and cats that are available for adoption. I talk to the approachable ones in a calm voice. Numerous adoptable dogs are just so happy to see a smiling face and want to kiss your fingers. It makes me sad to see some dogs who are scared and or traumatized. I suspect some of these animals have been subjected to abuse. That makes my heart hurt.
We already have a rescue dog and another dog or cat is not possible. I would take our dog for picture taking but she will bark at all the other animals and people. I might stop by to buy her a Christmas present and make a donation. There is a serious issue in the entire Houston area of over an estimated 1 million dogs and cats are homeless.
CAP is located very close to Katy at 17555 Katy Freeway just east of Barker Cypress on inbound side of I-10.
Stop by to see what is happening and if adoption does not work make a donation to help out these poor homeless dogs, cats and other animals or support CAP by buying something.
