Inflatable Christmas Decorations

Real Estate Broker/Owner with HomeBuyer Brokerage

Nothing says Christmas like a 5 foot tall inflatable Darth Vader!

Are you with me.....No?

Then how about a photo realistic 5 foot tall Elsa from Disney's movie, Frozen?

Are inflatable Christmas decorations a passing trend or here to stay? You can buy them everywhere-Home Depot , Walmart & eBay.

I love seeing the inflatable Christmas decorations at night. They fill up a front yard with the magic of Christmas!!

inflatable Christmas

However, with the light of day, Christmas inflatables look like Christmas trash heaped onto a front yard. Wouldn't it be great if the inflatables came with large Christmas boxes that could cover the deflated Santa's and Frosty's during the day? I would pay extra for that decorative perk.

The message:

Enjoy the spirit of the holiday season!

The plastic Santa's, snowmen, reindeer and manger scenes with Disney's Mickey & Minnie

It's a magical time of year for children. For grown-ups, we just have to take a breath and enjoy the eggnog and Nat King Cole's The Christmas Song one.....more.....blessed time.

Good morning Victoria and Marshall,

Never one for the inflatable decorations but to each their own.

The hard part is like the political signs before the elections of picking them up or after a wind storm figuring out who belongs to what.

Make yourself a great day.

My block neighbor has a front yard flooded with these inflatable decorations. Some will even move like Snoopie flying a plane. They also have mummies, skeltons, coffins, head stones and a real sleigh......Is their garage packed?

Morning Raymond Camp,

I love lights! There is a great light display at the National Zoo, it's called Zoolights. They make it look beautiful for the day and night.

thanks for stopping by!

Hi Sam Shueh-I once saw an inflatable Mickey & Minnie in a manger scene. You are right, your neighbors garage has to be packed with these decorations. That's dedication!

Enjoy your weekend!

I always wonder where they store all this "stuff" after Christmas?  Truly amazing all the work people put into decorating their house at Christmas, but I must confess, I love driving around to look at them at night!  Part of the Christmas tradition.

Victoria and Marshall - Okay, some Christmas, or holiday related inflatables are okay, but that yard in your photo looks like a little overkill. Plus, I never understood what things like an inflatable Darth Vader has to do with Christmas?

Rosemarie Heindel-I'm with you! When you see a yard covered with Christmas stuff-you can only imagine the work that goes into taking it down/putting it up and storing it for most of the year. Makes me grumpy just thinking about it!

Have a great week!

Hi Troy Erikson-

The Darth Vader is so funny to me! Saturday, I saw a trinity like no other-Yoda, Darth Vader and R2D2-positioned around a shiny green yard globe in the front yard. May the Christmas force be with us all!
