Hello Fred ... thanks for stopping by and I remember viewing the northern lights in the Midwest when I grew up.

But I never imagined that they could be so colorful around the Alaska and the northern hemisphere, they are quite amazing.

Hello Ed ... thanks for stopping by and you may get that chance some day. The only problem would be the lights are the strongest during the cold winter months. Most people like to visit Alaska during the summer months when the sun is out 20 hours per day ;o)
