The Christmas Boat Parade... S. Florida Style

This event takes place every year down in the Fort Lauderdale area. It's a big time event since the boats travel several miles down the Intracoastal. The spectacular views are out of this world standing by the shore line or looking from a high rise apartment. With the warm weather adding the bonus, what better place to be in the month of December.

Below is one of the shots.

Our boat parade was last night, 100+ boats. We watched from our dock behind our condo on the canal. It is always a treat!

Hi Winston Heverly ,  It's funny when you compare the parades here in the north, with decorated pickups, firetrucks and tractors and Florida has everything without wheels decorated.  At least you don't have to wear a heavy coat, mittens, boots and ear muffs to see a boat parade.
