Habitat for Humanity In Montana's Bitterroot Valley

I am super proud to be associated with an excellent real estate organization that is very involved in communities.  EXIT Realty Corp. International has pledged $500,000 to Habitat for Humanity International in 2015.  That brings the total pledged amount to $2.5 million.

Worldwide, over a billion people live in slums and there are over $45 million people who live in poverty.  It is Habitat for Humanity's goal to help those less fortunate with a hand up.  EXIT has been helping Habitat for years by giving a portion of every transaction fee collected by EXIT Realty Corp. International a a pledge to the cause

Christine Ireborg, EXIT Realty’s liaison with the Habitat for Humanity explains that “To-date we have contributed both financially and with volunteer hours towards 19 home builds, the majority of which benefited families led by single-mothers. We’ve participated in a community revitalization project and in the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project. Along with this latest pledge, we are pleased to announce a new co-op program, where the local fundraising efforts of an EXIT Realty sales representative or broker may be matched by our fund.”

“We are grateful to EXIT Realty, its agents and employees for their commitment to Habitat’s mission,” said Larry Gluth, Senior Vice President, U.S. and Canada, Habitat for Humanity International. Because of this partnership, more partner families have a safe, decent, affordable house to call home. “

Habitat for Humanity partners with families who invest sweat-equity hours in building their home and others. They make affordable down-payments on a no-interest mortgage and attend homeowner education classes.

“Home is such an emotionally-charged word. Statements like, ‘Honey, I’m home!’ or ‘Home for the holidays’ are filled with heart-warming sentiment,” says Tami Bonnell, EXIT Realty Corp. International’s CEO. “It’s a word that means comfort, safety, security and so much more. EXIT Realty is proud to work closely with the Habitat organization to help make the dream of home ownership a reality for families across the continent.”

Our local agency at EXIT Realty Bitterroot Valley, Inc. is very involved within our community.  We recently had our annual fund raiser which provides funds for Habitat for Humanity of Ravalli County.  Our agents contributed a fly fishing trip that brought in over $400 for the local group.
