A Snorkeling Sunday at Honaunau Bay After Buying a Home

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

After snorkeling at Honaunau Bay yesterday with Hella Rothwell, I was exhausted last night and slept straight through to morning. We were in the water for quite a few hours, and I encountered a bit of unexpected excitement when my snorkeling took me in a different direction. It was a lot of fun to take off a day and just play. No cellphones, no cameras, no iPads. I didn't even call my husband, which I generally do at some point during the day, just to check in.

Well, that's a good reason to write a blog, you know, and my husband subscribes to my blog so he always knows what I am up to, LOL. You can read more and see all the photos in my personal blog today at this link: Two-Step Beach Snorkeling at Honaunau Bay.

That truly was a great day watching all those dolphins leaping out of the water right around us. Can't believe we stayed in the ocean that long but, tie dyed shirt over bathing suit, I didn't feel cold at all. Re the "sharks", your eyes were kind of wide when I met up with you at the bottom of the "two steps" and you were pretty limber getting out of the water!!

Yes it sounds as though there was some added excitement to the outing.  How much better a story is that to tell now?  Mark

Hi Elizabeth.  Great rationalism on the purchase.  It makes so much sense.

I'm glad you didn't end up being one of those shark's trophy on their wall.

Sounds like a fun day with Hella.  You definitely deserved the day to relax and enjoy after securing your Hawaiian home.
