Dogs and Cats Available at Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP)
I posted a blog on Friday December 11, 2015 about a Home for Holidays event being held on Saturday and Sunday Dec 12 and dec 13 at CAP. The main function was to encourage folks to adopt available dogs, cats and other animals for the holidays and to raise needed funds to keep these poor homeless 4 legged friends in their shelter until a permanent home can be found.
I was able to go there on Sunday afternoon. I did see several adoptions of both dogs and cats were under way. There were many individuals and families considering adoption. This is all good news. However, of course there are still numerous other dogs and cats who want to go home with someone. I took some pictures. I hope by showing some of these to adopt available dogs, cats and other animals for the holidays a someone will get interested. If you can find it in your heart to adopt one or more please do so.
Adopting means you take this dog or cat for the rest of their lives and not just for a short period of time. One poor little dog was very scared and licking my fingers plus whimpering.
