When buyers ask me - specially first time home buyers - which home is right from me?

My answer is - the moment you put your first leg in the home and have positive vibes and great feeling about it, that should be YOUR home!

I'd like to share Hannah Williams's thoughts on this....

How Many Times Do I Look for Houses Before I Get That Feeling

 I am working with a super  nice young couple . It is the second marriage for both of them and between them they have five  wonderful teenage children . Of course the first thing they did was get pre-qualified by a mortgagsomerton forgee banker 

There was child support so this had an effect on how much they could afford  The husband was a little disappointed that he had to look in the city instead of the suburbs  . Once we started to look he felt much better .

 

Oh I think I forgot to mention the two big dogs  that we needed to find a yard for   We went out two times  Each time we looked at four houses  The size was good  but as I always tell my buyers when it is the right house you will get that feeling . Feeling he asked ?  Yes I explained you will know what I mean when we walk in the right house   After the second time out he said how many times do we look at houses before  I get the feeling   I got a letter from my landlord and I need to let him know if I am renewing my lease    I smiled and told him usually three times or less but we had seen some really bad houses that day   I knew he was getting discouraged   I promised him we would find them a house before their lease was up even if I had to take them out on Christmas Day   His wife was not worried but he was not optimistic 

 

The following week we had three houses to see  There were five of us piled in my car   We were having a great time but had not seen  the right house   Then we walked into house number three and he turned around and said " I understand what you are talking about now " This house had everything they wanted . Real hardwood floors newer heater  central air  newer windows  and a fenced yard    It also to had remodeled kitchen and baths   Plus it was just reduced and now was exactly priced perfectly for them   Guess what he said with a big smile on his face "I have the feeling "  I guess we need to sign papers   He also gave me a big hug  

There are times it really feels great to be a Real Estate Agent .

Hi Praful Thakkar , Hannah Williams , It's exciting for us when we get that feeling before our clients, and then watch them react.  That should be the time we take out our video cmera and record the event.
