In Real Estate, we are lately talking about the coolest tech toy in the industry AKA Drones.

Many of the Realtor I have spoken with have expressed they are planning to take aerial pictures using drones. I know a home inspector who uses a drone to check out the roof. Apart from real estate agents, many of them are planning to give a gift during the holiday to our techie friends and family.

When FAA announced after numerous incidence that drone owners have to register their drones, lot of us were scrambling if the device you have needs to be registered. Along with the registration required announced the FAA released its own list of drone examples that require registration, but it’s not very thorough.

Thanks to geeks at Wired magazine they published a simple chart to help you figure out your drone needs registered or not. Here is a link with Wired Magazine Drone Simple Chart

Did you know if have a drone that weigh more than 0.55 pounds to 55 pounds you will have to register?

Looks like it is time to update this blog.  The rules keep changing on Drones.  I am still learning how to fly mine better.
