Spam! It's Not Just A Hawaiian Delicacy Anymore

Yep, it's back in force at Active Rain. A quick perusal of the featured blog posts this morning shows that the spammers are back in business. I wonder if some of these spammers realize that the rest of the comments are valuable input and commentary.....or if they just popped in to copy and paste.

I appreciate that Lottie gave some advice to one new member who might not have realized the point of comments, and Active Rain as a whole. She took the extra time to research the member to try and be helpful.

Well done Lottie!

But beyond that....as you might have noticed...this is this Ambassador's pet peeve this week. I really believe it's up to us to contribute to the content of this site and comments are a part of that.

I follow my blog comment threads closely and quickly delete any spam comments that come in. They are annoying but easy enough to get rid of.
